Dan Ryder, Co-producer of Wicked Decent Learning Offers Us His Help:)

In response to the e-mail you all received regarding the pod cast Dan Ryder responded below. Please take him up on his offer:)
I'm also happy to offer a helping hand in getting podcasts off the ground. I suppose I should say, I'm happy to offer my podcasting partner's hand because he has most of the technical know-how. We've been at it with our show Wicked Decent Learning for over a year now and have run into just about every problem you can imagine and still come out on the other end the better for it. At the heart of it, though, the only real complications come in the publishing/broadcasting and those are navigable waters. (Wow.. that's a mouthful of cliche.)

February Literacy/Technology Pilot

We met in February to discuss how to set up a unit of inquiry using a google site - among many other things:) The unit of inquiry will provide differentiation in the classroom. With the use of technology Maine students teachers have an opportunity to create and manage lessons on a variety of levels.

We also began compiling our list for our report to the state regarding the link between technology and literacy.

Thank you team for all you do for the kids in Maine:) You are making a difference:)
