Some Idaho districts upgrade technology for young students

    Some Idaho school districts are purchasing new iPads, laptops and desktop computers for young students using $13 million set aside for technology upgrades in 2011. A statewide initiative to distribute laptops to all high-school students and teachers is in the works, but some schools say purchasing the devices now for younger students will better prepare them for high school.
