Revised NCLB would include support for computer-science education
Legislation to revise No Child Left Behind, which is making its way through Congress, recently was amended to include computer-science teachers in a provision of the bill pertaining to professional development. The move was supported by the advocacy group Computing in the Core, which includes Google, Microsoft, the Computer Science Teachers Association and others.
