How Google Earth can help make lessons more relevant
Educators are using Google Earth to make math and reading more relevant to students' lives. One teacher uses the free site, Real World Math, which offers math lessons that include word programs that incorporate downloadable Google Earth maps. Another free site, Google Lit Trips, allows students to use online maps to follow the travels of literary characters. KQED.org/Mind/Shift (9/6)
