In 2013, 12 states allowed computer science to fulfill a math or science high-school graduation requirement. That number since has risen to 28 states and the District of Columbia, but efforts to pass policies in other states to have computer science count as a foreign language have been met with some resistance.U.S. News & World Report (10/13)
